The wasteland has more than a few surprises for you, so as you’re racing down those dark desert highways, be sure to keep your eyes peeled. We’re talking about the good kind of surprises, though. Think more along the lines of finding a tenner in an old coat pocket, as opposed to being maimed by a giant irradiated bug. Just check out these features:Expanding Grid and Tumbling Reels
Cash Truck starts with 5 reels and 4 rows, along with a locked area that is just 3 symbols deep. Every time there is a win, the reels expand, the winning symbols disappear, and new symbols are dropped down. Quickspin calls this feature Tumbling Reels, but you might also know it as Rolling Reels, Cascading Reels/Wins, Chain Reaction, and Avalanche. All of these features are more or less the same but tend to be given different names by different developers. The game reels expand until they reach 7 rows. The Tumbles will also continue until there are no more wins. Payouts that accumulate during the Tumbles aren’t released until all of them have finished. If the feature triggers during a Tumble, it will activate after all of the Tumbles are over.Second-Chance Scatter
As is so often the case, you need 3 or more Scatter symbols to trigger the main feature on the Cash Truck slot machine. But there is a difference. If you land just 2 Scatters, you’ll be given another chance. Once all of the Tumbles have finished, the reels will expand a little and all symbols except the two Scatters will be removed. You will then be given another chance to land that final Scatter symbol and trigger the feature.Truck Raider Bonus
Whether you unlocked the main bonus at the first time of asking or via the Second-Chance Scatter, this is where things really get interesting. Known as the Truck Raider feature, this bonus begins with three Cash Stacks placed at random intervals on the reels. All other symbols also change to show their value in relation to the bet amount. Three spins are awarded to begin with and each spin comes with a chance of unlocking additional Cash Stacks and special symbols, including:- Booster: As soon as it lands, the Booster adds its value to all other symbols in the area.
- Super Booster: Works just like the Booster, but the value it adds remains for the duration of the Bonus Spins.
- Expander: Unlocks three random places from the locked area, expanding the game reels in the process.
- Grabber: The value of all other symbols is added to the value of this special symbol.
- Super Grabber: Takes the value of all other symbols and retains that value for the duration of the feature.
- Doubler: The value of this symbol doubles every time the spin counter is reset to 3.
