“Das Boot” is German for “the boat”, but it’s also the name of a famous 1981 war film. The Das xBoot slot is clearly inspired by that film and the story that it told. It takes players on an underwater adventure, giving them a taste of life on a U-boat during the war.

Das xBoot Features

Das xBoot was developed by the innovative folk over at No Limit City, a development team known for their timeless style as well as their innovative features. Just check these out:  

xNudge Wild

The Wild symbol is four rows high, and if it lands just out of sight, it will be nudged up or down so that it becomes fully visible. Every nudge increases the Wild Multiplier x1 and the Multipliers can be added together to create big combination wins. The xNudge Wild appears on the third and fourth reels during the base game, but it can only appear on the fourth reel during the Silent Hunter Spins.  

xWays

Look out for the xWays symbol, which appears on the second and fifth reels and turns into a random symbol.  xWays is a big symbol that can appear as either 2x or 3x bigger than the standard symbols. If more than one of these symbols appears on the reels at the same time, both of them will transform into the same symbol type.  

xBomb Wild Multiplier

The xNudge Wild isn’t the only Substitution Wild in the Das xBoot slot. The xBomb is just as potent and even more explosive. It can substitute for all symbols except the Bonus and then destroys all symbols that are not part of winning combinations. After the dust has settled, the remaining symbols will fall down and fill the gaps left by the explosions. If more wins are created, additional payouts will trigger. xBomb increases the Multiplier and this increase can carry into the game’s Bonus Spins.  

Silent Hunter Spins

The Bonus symbol is represented by a RADAR image. Three of these are needed to activate the Silent Hunter Spins, a feature that triggers eight Bonus Spins. The third reel expands to eight positions and a new Wild symbol, known as the Periscope Wild, is added to the reels. If connecting symbols appear on the first two reels and one of these Wilds lands on the third reel, the periscope pops up, finds a target, and then launches a torpedo. If the missile hits its target, the Periscope Wild expands and then delivers a Multiplier for each nudge that it creates. If the torpedo misses, the Periscope Wild is treated like a single symbol Wild. Reveal more of the Bonus symbols to re-trigger the feature, with two spins awarded for each additional Bonus symbol.  

Wolf Pack Spins

The same Bonus symbol that triggers the Silent Hunter Spins can trigger the Wolf Pack Spins, but you need four of them and not three. You will get eight spins in total and a torpedo tube is added to the three middle reels. A new type of symbol, known as the Torpedo Wild, can land in this tube and substitute for all symbols except the Bonus. These Wilds drop xWays symbols to the tube and are activated when the tube fills up. Sticky Win Multipliers are awarded when the torpedoes launch and increase by 1x for the duration of the feature. As with the Silent Hunter Spins, you will receive additional spins every time you reveal a Bonus symbol.
