Here at Casumo the wellbeing of our players a l w a y s comes first. And we don’t say it just to say it. We genuinely care. That’s why we’ve got an amazing team of people with expertise in responsible gaming, whose role is to provide help to players when needed. But that’s not all. We also have a bunch of friendly tools that can keep you (or your friends and loved ones) safe from problems related to gambling.
Playing Online Casino should be thrilling and entertaining
As a company, one of our core beliefs is that playing at Casumo should always be something positive and entertaining. Sometimes it can be hard to control how much you want to play and end up spending more than what you originally planned for. This can be stressful on yourself and those around you. Knowing this, we have done our best to provide you with the information you need to help you keep your gambling within controllable limits.
Keep reading to find out more how you can inform yourself about responsible gaming, what we can do for you and where to turn to if you feel you might require a helping hand.
Our first rule–be safe
So you heard about all the fun and excitement going on at Casumo and want to try your luck. That’s fantastic. We like you and want you to have the time of your life playing with us.
But ahoy, captain, first things first. We want your ride to be a smooth one because we care a great deal about your safety when spending time with us. You can easily get wrapped up in all the excitement and we don’t want you to start spending more than you can afford to lose.
Peace of mind with the right tools at the right time
So how do we provide peace of mind to our players? Here at Casumo we have many ways to keep you safe. You can set up various limits at your own discretion, you can contact our Ambassadors for advice or use the self-exclusion tool to stop playing for a period of time.
We call these tools Casumo Play Okay and here is where you can find more information about them: https://www.casumo.com/en/play-okay
Setting limits on how much you play
Decide the amount you can afford to play with us, then set limits on your Casumo account to ensure your spend is always within your control. There are several options for setting limits, so if it gets a bit confusing, just reach out and we’ll help you get those limits set up.
This will limit the amount you can spend during a certain period. You will be able to make deposits up to the amount you have chosen and in addition to this, you can deposit an amount equal to any withdrawals made during this period. If you set a budget of €50 weekly and withdraw €100 that same week, you will be able to deposit a total of €150.
Limit the amount you can deposit during a certain period of time. Once you have reached this sum you will not be able to make any new deposits until your limit has reset.
Limit the possible amount of net losses you can make based on bets minus wins during a certain period. When you have reached this sum, you will not be able to place any new bets until your limit has reset.
Limit the total amount you can wager during a certain period. When you have reached this sum, you will not be able to place any new bets until your limit has reset.
Logged in time limit
Limit how many hours you can be logged in to your account daily. Once you reach your limit, you will be automatically logged out and any gameplay is paused or completed in the background.
Login time block
Set a specific time block covering all days of the week during which you will not be able to log in to your account. The start- and end time of this limit will calculate according to the time zone you are in when activating it.
Self-excluding yourself from online casino
Responsible gaming is also knowing when to stop. If you think you are playing too much or that your gambling is becoming a problem that cannot be controlled just by setting limits, then self-exclusion is an important big step for you. Use this tool to close your account for a period of time of your choice. We recommend that you exclude yourself from playing for at least six months. During this time, you will not be able to login to your account and you will not receive any emails or texts from us.
Taking a short break from playing online casino
Do you feel you need a little break from gambling? Perhaps you are concerned about your gambling behavior or just need time to focus on something more important in your life. A short break can help you go a long way. At Casumo, you can take a break up to 6 months.
During the period of your break, you will not receive any emails or text from us. Your account will automatically reopen after the period you selected is over.
