Q. Could you share the best thing about your job?

A. “It’s actually a lot like a nice get together while out there in 'the pit'. Talking, sharing stories with colleagues and players. Besides that, I personally enjoy all sorts of odds. Once I had a 3 come out of the shoe 8 times in a row."

Q. Did you have any camera or studio experience before you started working with Casumo?

A. “Yes. Before I started working with Casumo I worked as a game presenter for Evolution Gaming for almost 3,5 years.

Q. Could you walk us through the most memorable win you’ve experienced in our Live Studio?

A. “I witnessed some pretty cool wins, especially from side bets at the Blackjack table. Once there was a player who won 3 out of 4 rounds with three-of-a-kind side bet wins! That was amazing. But my most memorable moment was when 4 out of the 5 seats that were taken won with Blackjacks in one round!”

Q. How do you prepare yourself for a live session?

“All I do is have an espresso and put a big smile on my face. Everything else is simply improv, because I rarely ever practice. I was in theatre as a student, so I’m used to improvise on stage. Often people would forget their lines, so we had to change up our scene on the spot while staying in line with the general idea of the script and it’s the same at work. There’s never a dull day, that’s for sure!”

Q. How would friends describe you?

“They’ll say that I’m fun, sweet, spontaneous and crazy – in a good way, of course. And that I’m a good listener. But the first thing they’ll tell you is that I’m super clumsy. There’s been quite a few moments when I've been clumsy on camera. Hopefully no one was recording… For example, once when I was getting up from the table I bumped into the corner with my leg and fell flat on the floor. That might actually be the best way to describe me, haha.”

Q. What is the strangest thing someone has ever said to you in the live chat?

A. “Somebody told me once that I sound like an American spy. Not sure if I relate to it much, though. Actually all it did was make me wonder what spies are supposed to sound like! Something else that comes to mind is the time when a player helped me write lyrics for a song. Maybe that shouldn’t be labelled as strange though, it was pretty amazing.”

Q. Do you feel that you have a similar persona in front of the camera and “offline”?

A. “No, actually not at all! I enjoy acting a bit crazy at the tables, but once I'm off-camera, I’m very quiet. I also like to play different characters in front of the camera, depending on my mood. I’ve had quite some experience performing in front of larger audiences at my local theatre when I was younger so perhaps that’s where that stems from.”

Q. How much of your time would you say that you’re improvising, on autopilot or scripted?

“I always make an effort to improvise, to make my sessions as fun as possible. I’d say that 80% of my shifts are improvisation and maybe 20% autopilot, but absolutely nothing is scripted from my end!”
