Wild

The bearded face of Saint Nick is the Wild symbol on the Santa’s Wonderland slot. It substitutes for all symbols and can connect multiple different payout paths. It also plays an important role in the Spin Features. See below for more details.  

Cluster Pays and Tumble

There are no standard paylines on the Santa’s Wonderland slot. It’s a Cluster Pays slot with a built-in Tumble feature. What does this mean? Well, firstly, payouts are triggered through horizontal and vertical connections, as opposed to straight paylines. At least 5 matching symbols are needed for a winning payline and it’s possible to connect as much as 64, with the biggest returns offered for connections of 25 and over. Every time there is a winning combination, the symbols in that combination disappear, creating a space that’s filled when new symbols drop down from above. If there is another win resulting from a Tumble, the process will repeat and it will continue to repeat until there are no more payouts.  

Spin Features

During each base game spin, you’ll notice 5 different coloured snowflakes hiding behind the symbols. These all represent a unique spin modifier. To trigger them, simply land a winning combination on the covering symbol. The modifier will take effect once all current Tumbles have finished.

• Blue Snowflake (Refresh): All symbols except the Wild are removed from the reels. New symbols are then dropped onto the reels to accompany these Wilds and create more Tumbles.
• Purple Snowflake (Wild Santa): A single symbol type is transformed into a Wild.
• Yellow Snowflake (Blocks): Blocks of 2x2 symbols land on the reels at random.
• Red Snowflake (Supersize): A block of 3x3, 4x4, or 5x5 symbols is added to the reels in a random position.
• Green Snowflake (Lucky Santa): Between 5 and 15 Wild symbols are added to the reels. These appear in random positions and can trigger further wins.

 

Midnight Riches

Wondering where the clock comes in? The Midnight Riches feature is the answer.  Every winning symbol is counted and added to the clock, which serves as a meter. When 140 winning symbols are added, Midnight Riches is activated. Midnight Riches takes you through a number of levels, giving you guaranteed spin modifiers each step of the way. Collect symbols to advance through each level, growing a Multiplier with every step that you take:

• Level 2 Requires 116 Winning Symbols and Rewards a 6x Multiplier
• Level 3 Requires 120 Winning Symbols and Rewards a 9x Multiplier

The combination of Tumbles and Multipliers can lead you toward the game’s maximum payout of 7,500x. If such a payout is reached, all spins and features end.
